MeMadam
The MeMadam brand was created with women in mind who aspire to follow the classic principles of feminine elegance in a modern interpretation. As Hubert de Givenchy once said, “The dress must follow the woman, never the other way around.” Guided by this motto, and in collaboration with illustrator Martyna Wójcik-Śmierska, we designed a timeless collection of scarves that perfectly fits the rhythm of city life—full of experiences and fast-paced moments in the 21st century. The artist used a rich and highly developed color palette, making the scarf leave a strong impression both before and after it is tied. Our inspiration for the premiere collection came from four of the most iconic cities in the world, three of which are major fashion capitals. They are depicted in a way that stimulates the imagination, composed of many intricate elements that make the scarves stand out as an accessory to most outfits. We made every effort to ensure that each of you can find a design that reflects your individual style and personal preferences.
London
A perfect combination of deep red and classic, elegant navy blue that together create a unique harmony in true English style. Red buses, phone booths, and post boxes contrast with patterned tartan scarves reminiscent of the craftsmanship of the British fashion house Burberry—alongside trench coats and argyle sweaters, all set against the backdrop of London's moody weather and highlighted by the bold presence of its world-famous architecture. The overall palette leans cooler and more versatile—ideal for every type of feminine beauty. The distinctive scarf design captures the most beautiful and noteworthy elements of Great Britain. It’s a chic accessory for lovers of afternoon tea and nonchalant dressing, inspired by the style of British fashion icon Kate Moss—a daily touch of London that makes for a stylish addition and a perfect finishing element to many elegant outfits.
Size matters
Every scarf, regardless of its size, has its own unique charm and enhances an outfit in different ways. However, it is important to consider how you intend to wear it and what effect you wish to achieve. Choosing the right size is therefore essential, as it directly affects the range of tying styles and possibilities available to you.
And so, the smallest scarf can be tied in the following ways:
- → around the neck as a classic “gavroche”
- → on a handbag, tied around the handle or used as a handle itself
- → around the wrist
- → in the hair: at the end of a braid, wrapped around a bun, as a headband, etc.
The medium-sized scarf, on the other hand, can be tied in the following ways:
- → around the neck with a low or high knot
- → on a handbag, tied traditionally around the handle or styled into a bow
- → in the hair, with loose ends around a ponytail/bun/braid tip, or woven into a braid
The largest scarf can be tied in the following ways:
- → on the head in a Grace Kelly style
- → draped over the shoulders
- → around the neck, either traditionally or wrapped twice
- → on a handbag, tied around the handle traditionally or styled into a bow
- → in the hair, with long loose ends around a ponytail/bun/braid tip, woven into a braid, or tied into a bow around a ponytail
- → as a belt replacement for a skirt or pants.
