Classic men’s elegance typically favors muted colors. One noteworthy exception, however, is camel beige. Coats in this color make a truly spectacular impression in winter and provide a wonderful alternative to the cornerstone of coat elegance — navy.

Men’s winter coat
For almost 200 years, the overcoat has been a symbol of status and a powerful tool in shaping a man’s image. Once, it was of course the only form of winter outerwear, but today it is somewhat overshadowed by the ubiquitous synthetic-fabric jackets. Nevertheless, when a high-quality coat comes into view, it immediately draws attention because classic garments emphasize a number of desirable masculine features, such as::
• broad lapels highlighting the chest
• a reinforced shoulder line
• a tailored waist
A men’s coat therefore brings with it not only a refined and elegant image, but also a range of less obvious advantages that almost any man can benefit from.

Double-breasted men’s coat – button arrangement
Edward is a double-breasted coat with a 6x2 button arrangement. This means that out of the total of six buttons, two are functional.

At Miler Menswear, we gladly draw on our roots in bespoke tailoring, placing great importance on the button arrangement that ensures a dynamic silhouette for the wearer of a double-breasted men’s coat. Interestingly, the carefully chosen proportions of the “V” shape formed by the buttons also help to visually slim the wearer.

What shoes go with a beige coat?

With a beige coat, dark brown shoes are definitely the best match. The featured look is based on oxfords, but our brown monk shoes would work just as well — if not even better.
Brown monk shoes are virtually the Holy Grail for enthusiasts of classic men's elegance. Their extravagant appearance draws attention, making them a standout choice. They are an excellent match for semi-formal and casual outfits, pairing well with suits as well as chinos or jeans. The shoe trees visible in the photo are for presentation purposes only and are not included in the product offer. Last type: MiMe-RegMen's brown MILER monk shoes
It’s worth adding that the rubber panel in the middle of the leather sole protects the sole from wear during winter and helps prevent the wearer from slipping.
Fabric
The Edward coat is made from fabric produced by the Italian mill Lanificio Luigi Zanieri in the Biella region. This blend of sheep’s wool and cashmere offers an exceptionally pleasant hand-feel and a surprisingly high durability.

We chose this fabric after our excellent experience with the Charles coat, our single-breasted Chesterfield. That coat proved to be so durable and so well-loved by our customers that we decided to bring the same fabric quality, in a different colour, to our double-breasted coat offering.
Scarf and tie
In the featured outfit, the choice fell on burgundy and bottle green, but purple, navy, graphite, or red would work just as well.

Be sure to check out our tie section and scarf section to find something for yourself!
What pocket square is this?
Not all men choose to wear a pocket square in a coat. Of course, it’s a certain touch of nonchalance, but the Miler Blue pocket square looks so beautiful in the breast pocket of the Edward coat that it’s hard to resist!

Let’s recall the magnificent pattern of this pocket square, which Miler Menswear created in collaboration with Johnnie Walker Blue Label and the talented illustrator Alek Morawski, also known as Lis Kula.
Silk pocket square "Miler Blue" – for the first time available for purchase, this unique silk pocket square is inspired by the lining pattern of the limited-edition Miler Blue suit, created in collaboration between Miler Menswear and Johnnie Walker. Drawing inspiration from the Scottish landscape, the design features a map of Scotland alongside illustrations of the whisky-making process. The artwork was created by Alek Morawski, making this pocket square not only a stylish accessory but also a wearable piece of art."Miler Blue" pocket square
